On February 18 at 7PM the entire church community will gather for our Ash Wednesday service. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten Season and serves as a reminder of repentance. During the service the sign of the cross will be placed on either the forehead or the right hand of each person using the ashes of burnt palm leaves from the previous year’s Palm Sunday. Hymns, prayers, Scripture readings and the Lord’s Supper will also be included in the service.
